Former student and now friend Irene Spadafora, of indigoaudio.ca offered to make these podcasts for me.
I chose a variety of pieces – an anecdotal excerpt from my book, an embarrassing but humourous (I hope) memory, two of the short fantasy stories I wrote in 1964 at the age of thirteen or fourteen about my passion for Paul McCartney (which is the material I’m working on now) and an essay about the process of writing and my own writing epiphany, thanks to my mentor Wayson Choy.
